I have noticed a rise in traffic tickets for defected windshields. There was this taxi driver he had a chip smaller than a dime, it wasn’t even in the drivers view. He ran a stop light in down town Houston. He was pulled over and ticketed for running a red light. He told me he made the light and that’s also what he told the cop. I told the taxi driver, that’s probably why you got a ticket for a defective windshield. And he agreed. Police officers are there to protect and serve, their not out to get you, obey the law, drive right for god sake and keep your car in tip top condition and the cops wont have a reason to pull you over. If you don’t want an added ticket for a cracked windshield, or maybe a license plate frame, witch is illegal in Texas too. Don’t argue with police, there just trying to do their job, the pay isn’t that great, there short handed, think about what they deal with on a day to day basis, don’t add fule to the fire! Then you’ll have a better chance, to not get a ticket for some other minor flaws in your vehicle.
